Message of thanks to the Research Park at FAU community

Dear Research Park at FAU community,

Thanksgiving is always a time to pause to reflect on our many bounties and, hopefully, to take steps to consider those less fortunate, in our own way. This year I am especially thankful for the work of the 1,000+ innovators, entrepreneurs and researchers who make up the Research Park at FAU. You didn't pause your endeavors for the pandemic, but rather adapted and pressed on.

The 38 entities based here are strengthening South Florida's economy by growing companies in industries that have an disproportionately positive impact on GDP and pay above average wages. By engaging a research intensive university like FAU, these companies are adding new knowledge and providing new products and services to our economy, ensuring that the current recession will be less pronounced than it could otherwise have been for South Florida's residents.

In just the last couple of months, we've been able to share some impressive success stories in our Innovate & Grow in South Florida at the Research Park at FAU online hub, made possible by strategic and generous investment by sponsor partners, and the announcement of three of our companies being GrowFL Florida Companies to Watch honorees.

All of the success is yours, the innovators, aided by our partner sponsors, governing special district Authority members and Florida Atlantic University's students and faculty. Thank you!

Have a peaceful, healthy and safe Thanksgiving.
