Matt Korshoff has a long history in community banking, spanning over 30 years in Broward County. Today, Matt is the President of his region at SouthState Bank with an office in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Matt has earned a General Banking Diploma from the Florida Bankers Association, and completed the Graduate School of Banking program at Louisiana State University. Matt has been a board member and executive committee member of Leadership Broward since 2009 and was recently Chairman of the Board of Directors. He was a board member for HANDY for three years, where he served as the Treasurer. Matt also has taught for Junior Achievement for over 20 years, and more recently, for the PACE Center for Girls, where he is also a member of the Board of Directors. Additionally, Matt is a current member of Leadership Florida’s Cornerstone proigram. When not working or volunteering, Matt is well-known for his knowledge of music trivia, and also enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, at their home in Plantation, Florida.
