The last two years have been trying for all of us, personally and professionally. Global Ventures has not been immune from the pressures and changes the pandemic and subsequent inflation has brought to the business environment.

Global Ventures is an initiative of the Research Park at Florida Atlantic University® to assist second-stage technology companies scale to the next level of growth and thrive in the South Florida economy, as you know. To that end, Global Ventures absorbs more than 2/3 of the cost of running the facility as part of its investment in your companies and fostering economic development in this region.

Inflation is now at a generational high and the costs of running this facility have continued to increase and yet we have not increased rental rates in more than three years. For 2022 we will maintain this freeze on rental increases, recognizing the extraordinary challenges you and your companies are facing, we want to give your company every opportunity to succeed. Please note that in 2023 it is very likely that we will have to implement some modest increase in order to keep pace with rising costs.

In the meantime, please continue to innovate and grow, using this facility and our team as an extension of your efforts and let us know how we can assist you.
